Other stuff and some good things

Fixed a few things around here. First, my logo (oi), I am never happy with my logo. But, alas, I just put this one together and I'm quite pleased. I have always loved this little blue haired girl and I wanted to have my name handwritten, so here it is! Ta - Da!

Next, apparently my contact form up there under info wasn't working for the past year. I might have missed out on a few e-mails. I hope that isn't the case, but if you were my dream client or company maybe there is a slim chance you'll see that in fact, I am a nice person, I didn't get your email and that yes, I would still love to work with you. Peace offering? It is the holidays.

Last, my facebook link at the bottom wasn't work either. Let's just say I am very amateur at the creating of websites. So it goes. I'm hoping that the rest of the bugs are so minor that no one will ever notice. Click on the fb link, like my page and make my day. While your at it, send me a message from my contact form above! :)

This year has been the best of the best. I signed on with my dream agent, Tugeau 2, who has helped acquire a contract with Blue Apple Books. I am spending 2015 illustrating a book written by David Elliott (Finn Throws A Fit - heard of it? One of my daughter's favorites and we can relate to it oh so well.)

I got to work with so many amazing and talented small businesses this year. So many fun custom drawings and logos and lovely friends that I have gained along the way. Muddy's Bake Shop, Sarah & Abraham, Lou Brown Designs, Little Gnome Knits, Dolly Priss, Kelly Bejelly, and Laura Gonzales from Peace to the City.

I met two artists I greatly admire; Nicky Ovitt and Emily Balsely.

I got to know all the ladies of the Happy Happy Art Collective. Love keeping in touch with these girls, video chatting and making art. You make me so happy.

The authors I have had the pleasure of getting to know Stephany Aulenback and Kathy Beliveau and how grateful I am to have illustrated their beautiful words.

Happy Happy's 24 days of free printables is turning out to be so amazing. Check out all the amazing things we have been creating.

Erin and Phillip Stead are amazing children's book illustrators/authors they have this very interesting blog called Number Five Bus. I recommend reading through. Plus Matthew Cordell! Come on!

My editor Kallie George over at Simply Read Books has written a magical book that I can't wait to get, The Magical Animal Adoption Agency. Isn't that cover amazing?

Cannot wait for this book!

And treated myself to this amazing one

Looking forward to my goals for 2015.
